Is this the best album cover of the year?
I think so.

I'm No Dummy
So so so, I've been upping my music magazine bothering this month, this time with the relaunch of the smashing Dummy mag. You might remember it in it's glossy monthly format a couple of years back - now it's an all singing online hub. Check out my Your Twenties piece, at this rate I'm expecting the call to write their first biography (I promise nothing but the truth, the whole truth and no impartiality).
READ IT HERE!
And if that wasn't enough, I'm going to play some records for them at the launch party this Friday

video jukebox
There's been a couple of videos that have caught my eye this week:
1) Maccabees - No Kind Words (featuring our old mucker, Horne-y)
2) Truckers of Husk - Person For The Person (as reccomened by Mike Kruger)
3) Sebastien Tellier - Roche (the dreamy new vid with an impressive bit of piano burning at the end)
4) The Rakes - 1989 (I do wish they'd bloody cheer up. HUGE Rakes post including prime gossip to follow...)

Wogan Baby!
Last week the lurvely Marina and the Diamonds took a trip to Radio 2 to do a live session with Dermot O'Leary. I had a crush on him when I was a teenager, oh the shame.
Anyway, he was flippin lovely even if he did start his show with Snow Patrol.
Listen to Marina's live session RIGHT HERE (16 mins in), it's dead good.
Oh and while we were there I snuck a little sit down in Wogan's chair. Look, I'm so excited, I couldn't even keep my eyes open

Pun Of The Day
Gold.
(For the record, Lost In Paris do not support, condone or approve of anything to do with The Sun newspaper. And we love The Hadley very very much)

Jacko No Go
Poor old Micky J.
I've been unable to keep up with his latest string of disasters but isn't it something like he's dying of a genetic disease which is making his lungs collapse, he's in debt up to his ears and now he's nearly blind? Amazing.
To pay off all those out of court settlements (allegedly) he's having to sell all his possessions in auction. Sad for him. But yay for us as we get to have a nose.
These 3 were my particular favourite lots.
We've all got one of these though, right?
Just like in Big.
Any one want to chip in with me on this one? That's him as Peter Pan on the bonnet of his golf cart by the way.
But hey, wasn't the Off The Wall album bloody brilliant?
PS, is there anyone out there who hasn't heard my MJ - David Blaine - Uri Geller - Exeter Football Club story yet?

MY EYES! MY EYES ARE BURNING!!
No, I didn't find this picture in the photoshop gallery of a Smiths Fan Fiction site, I'm shamed to say this is a genuine press shot, being used in the sleeve of the new Morrissey single.
I've spent many many long nights defending Mozza. I've brought his records. I've paid money to see his shows. I've worn a badge with his face on.
YOU'VE GONE TOO FAR THIS TIME STEVEN.
