step right up here, i've found the next hot band
My little sister is 12.
My little sister is in a band.
My little sister can play guitar better then most band members with record deals out there.
My little sister's guitar is actually bigger then she is but she did have her first gig last week and I was very proud to be in attendance.
They're called Hear-Lobes (hummm) and they did a cover of Teenage Kicks, which is ironic as they're not even there yet.

do the A&R shuffle
I don't know; you hear a great new band on myspace, reckon you'll go check them out, only when you arrive at the venue you're met with a sea of industry executives saying things like "the landscape could have been very different if that merger had happened", "aren't they dynamic", and "can I get a receipt with that?"
This week we ended up at such a gig, and found ourselves playing a game of A&R shuffle. This involves hiding from people and actually enjoying the band that you've come to see, rather then tapping away on a blackberry.
There's a song to go with the A&R shuffle too, but it'd get us into trouble as it names names and we don't want that.
In the meantime, we've very much being enjoying these fellas this week

I am a material girl
It's all about presents right now. Today James from Your Twenties brought Kat & I huge falafels for lunch (I don't actually like them, but this one was reeeal good), Kat was kind enough to suprise me with a Mario Kinder Egg (pictured bellow), and last week I was lucky enough to be given a copy of the ADAM KESHER album. Just you flippin wait until you hear that baby...
In fact I believe you can head on over to their myspace and check the new single Local Girl right now. Really I shouldn't be promoting that fact as gosh darn it, we've got a release of our own in the shops right now, but I'm feeling well generous today. Cough cough, BUY IT HERE haha.
