The rain in London Town today is of epic monsoon-type proportions.
This song makes us dream of skipping through meadows, barefoot and carefree...

Sir Tellier
Next month see's the return of Eurovision and whilst I have absolutely no interest the contest, I seem to accidently end up watching it every year.
I was as dumbfounded as everyone to find Sebastien Tellier entering for France with Divine. Check the AMAZING video:
Even more so as the day before he announced it, I interviewed him for Kruger Magazine. It was slightly daunting as we were being filmed for his documentry, but what a guy. We chatted about sex, Daft Punk and mental illness. I even tried to start beef between him and Gonzales. Have a read bellow
Saying that, this monday Seb plays at Scala but I'll be across town at the ICA with Gonzales. I've made my choice....

Does Your Mumdance?
This looks like a killer night, not only are the ever-enteraining Naive New Beaters playing, but it's gratis. Wonderful.

We read this great article about The Shoes debut release on our brother label 50 Bones;
PITCHFORK *HEART *THE SHOES
Even better then that, we were in Pure Groove browsing through the 7"s, trying to find one with Johnny Marr's polariod, when we found this instead

Alex's EMO Disco #1
Oh we love The Xcerts. Kat told Murray something at their last gig which I think means he'll never look her in the eye again.
They're doing a special live show in our favourtie pub St. Johns in Archway on Tuesday 8th at 6pm. Free entry of course; pistachios optional.
