20-Twenties
I can't stop writing about Your Twenties. For Dummy, the 679 blog but the first (and the best) was my article for that bastion of good taste, Kruger.
This is a heritage post as this came out in February but I only just got a copy - but just like a fine bottle of merlot, it gets better with age.

this is why we love our friend Dennis...
I very nearly went to the same secondary school as Goody, do you think if I had maybe I could have been on the cover of OK! every week for the past year too?
Goodbye Bermondsey's finest.

Modern Life Is Rubbish
Remember when going out to an indie disco involved your Adidas zip up, clips in your hair and a good chance of seeing Graham Coxon at the bar?
His 'n' Hers is recapturing the spirit of an old fashioned, fun indie disco; playing the songs you swayed to, pouted at and wiggled your bum Jarvis-style along to.
Nothing but classics, including your favourite indie, grunge and hip hop gems, with a strict no-remix policy.
His N Hers; because modern life is rubbish.

Harder Better Faster Keyboard
I can see you: sat at your desk dreaming of DJing to 1000s? Bet you thought you could have done a better version then Kayne's of Harder Better Faster Stronger too. Well my friend, your time has come, click the picture bellow and tap away like you're Daft Punk in a magical light up pyramid.
Lo and behold, you too are a multi-millionaire robot-face. Alright!

I'm No Dummy
So so so, I've been upping my music magazine bothering this month, this time with the relaunch of the smashing Dummy mag. You might remember it in it's glossy monthly format a couple of years back - now it's an all singing online hub. Check out my Your Twenties piece, at this rate I'm expecting the call to write their first biography (I promise nothing but the truth, the whole truth and no impartiality).
READ IT HERE!
And if that wasn't enough, I'm going to play some records for them at the launch party this Friday

video jukebox
There's been a couple of videos that have caught my eye this week:
1) Maccabees - No Kind Words (featuring our old mucker, Horne-y)
2) Truckers of Husk - Person For The Person (as reccomened by Mike Kruger)
3) Sebastien Tellier - Roche (the dreamy new vid with an impressive bit of piano burning at the end)
4) The Rakes - 1989 (I do wish they'd bloody cheer up. HUGE Rakes post including prime gossip to follow...)
